It’s downright cold here in TN…definitely dreaming of the good old sunny days in LA. If I landed today, this is what I’d do:
Runyan Canyon
…best hike in the city, IMHO. So rewarding when you finally reach the top, but don’t start celebrating when you hit that 1st bench….look up darlin’, you’re only 1/2way there. On a clear day, you can see from downtown all the way to the ocean. And people in LA are in such great shape, you’re guaranteed to pull inspiration from people running uphill. Btw, dogs are free to run off-leash here, so if you’re scared of em, this ain’t the hike for you.
Geoffrey’s Malibu
…love LOVE this restaurant. So peaceful and when you sit out on the balcony, you feel like you’re literally dining on the water. Go at sunset…simply gorgeous…or for brunch…or both.
Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena
…the crazy thing is that after living there almost 10 yrs, I’ve never actually been. I love flea markets though and this one is supposed to be packed with all kindsa treasures. I’m gonna start looking for old pieces of furniture that I can refurbish…love the feeling of mixing old with new…it just feels good. Btw, this one is only on the 2nd Sunday of the month.
Real Food Daily
…makes being vegan ridiculously easy. And the desserts?? OMG. Which reminds me, I need to buy their cookbook. But I’ve been a pretty good girl this year, so maybe I’ll get it for Christmas. (If you wanna show me some love, tweet Patrick and drop a little hint…hehe.)
Oh, and of course I’d be hanging with my sister and her husband…they make movies.
